System SikaTop®-129 Sunshine

WATERPROOFING OF SWIMMING POOLS

SikaTop®-129 Sunshine is a two-component cementitious waterproofing mortar with a low modulus of elasticity. It can be reinforced with alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh for waterproofing substrates that are subjected to bending stresses.

1. The preparation before the application of the waterproofing material requires cleaning and removal of various residues and loose parts from the surface.

2. Next, the surface is sanded with special sanders to enlarge the pores of the concrete.

3. Repairs are made on the interior surface of the pool with Sikadur 31 where necessary.

4. The surface is washed with hydroblasting in order to begin the application

5. To complete the project, a final coating is applied with SikaTop®-129 Sunshine waterproofing material and 160g fiberglass reinforcement.
