Polyurethane waterproofing system

Waterproofing

The brush-applied waterproofing is a single-component, low-viscosity polyurethane-based material used for waterproofing and protection. It polymerizes with atmospheric moisture to form a monolithic waterproof membrane with excellent adhesion across the entire surface.

1. Cleaning of the entire surface and sanding with a special robotic machine, leveling, and removal of various loose mortars. Waterproofing of any joints or cracks with polyurethane mastic.
2. Application of a two-component epoxy primer over the entire surface and up to 20 cm around the perimeter for excellent adhesion of the polyurethane system.

3.Application of two layers of polyurethane membrane for complete waterproofing.

optionally:

4. For further enhancement of the insulation, an additional layer of aliphatic, liquid polyurethane coating is recommended for protection against UV radiation.
5. If hydroblasting is required, appropriate moisture condition measurements are conducted beforehand, as smoothing of the surface with mechanical means is preferred.

Advantages of brush-applied polyurethane waterproofing:

After the waterproofing of a roof, a seamless monolithic membrane is created without joints and seams. This is a high-specification roof waterproofing for long-term durability.

It offers long-term waterproofing.

It has excellent adhesion to concrete.

It provides vapor permeability.

It creates a continuous waterproof membrane without seams.

It has excellent resistance to UV radiation, as well as thermal and mechanical stress.

The primer depends on the existing substrate.
