Polyurethane foam system
EXTERNAL THERMAL INSULATION
Polyurethane is a material that we encounter everywhere in our daily lives; it is a particularly useful material and is the result of the chemical reaction between isocyanate and polyol. Especially in the construction sector, where thermal insulation and sound insulation are required, polyurethane foam is the ideal material and can deliver excellent results with very high performance. It has no joints, thereby eliminating thermal bridges and significantly reducing the cooling and heating costs of buildings. It has the lowest thermal conductivity coefficient of all other insulation materials.
Advantages of polyurethane foam:
The greatest advantages of using polyurethane foam are the speed of application, as most materials cure to 80% within 20-30 seconds and can withstand traffic and rain after just a few minutes (15-30). It reacts, applies, and cures faster than any other technology, resulting in very rapid project completion (for example, thermal insulation of 400m² can be completed in one day).
It is applied in 2-3 layers to the required thickness and forms a seamless surface without joints and seams, which are the main points of failure in conventional materials.
It can be applied to any surface regardless of shape or difficulty of access, including protrusions or cavities.
In combination with hot spray polyurea, it can quickly provide a top-tier thermal and moisture insulation system, and it has soundproofing properties.
After the application of polyurethane foam, polyurea can be applied.
