WATERPROOFING OF SWIMMING POOLS

Waterproofing of concrete structures is often carried out using one- or two-component cementitious mortars that are applied either with a roller or by spraying. Cementitious mortars can also be applied to the interior of walls when external application is not possible.

1. Perform cleaning and removal of various residues and loose parts from the surface.

2. Sanding the surface with special sanders to enlarge the pores of each surface (cement mortar, concrete).

3. Repair with Sikarep 200 repair mortar to achieve excellent flatness.

4. A brush-applied cementitious waterproofing of the customer's choice is applied.

Advantages of brush-applied cementitious base:

Flexible waterproofing and protection of reinforced concrete structures, including tanks, pipelines, etc.

Waterproofing in bathrooms, showers, verandas, balconies, pools, etc.

External waterproofing of walls that will be backfilled

Internal waterproofing of walls and floors against negative pressures, e.g., in basements.

Suitable substrate for tile installation.

Sikalastic 1K and 160g reinforcement or materials from Mapei.
